A special outdoor activity celebrating an old ritual of Wassailing was set up and ran at the campus of AUB. Wassailing is an ancient Dorset tradition that is believed to chase out bad spirits and cleanse the land for the new year.
This extra curriculum project was directed by Lorna Rees, and Designed by Heidi Dickeson, assistant designer Elizabeth Rickards ( Myself) and Costume Designer Adele Keely.
The performance of the workshop took place in the day, with over 100 students attending and consisted of creating artwork with totem poles with using pagen symbols along with acting, song and dance.
